Security Measures at the District’s Water Plants

After the September 11th attack, the District promptly took steps to secure the public water supply from possible terrorist attacks.  Due to the security risk, the District cannot specify to the public at this time the steps that have been taken.  The District and the Stafford Police Department have coordinated security efforts and, as requested by the FBI, are in a state of highest alert regarding the public water supply.
